Program Standards

The Pre-Collegiate / Youth Programs (PcPO) has established Program Operating Standards and Guidelines for those who may work or interact with individuals under 18 years of age, with the goal of promoting the safety and wellbeing of minors. Florida Atlantic University regularly hosts a wide variety of university sponsored or sanctioned programs and activities for non-enrolled minors such as: camps, clinics, workshops, conferences, and other educational activities. The aforementioned activities are located both on-campus and off-campus under university supervision. It is imperative that non-enrolled minors on campus be overseen in a fashion that is appropriate and intended to keep them healthy and safe while visiting the university.
