Aloke Dasgupta is among the most outstanding and original sitar players in North Indian (Hindustani) classical music. His style both nostalgically represents the traditional sitar greats of the past, and embraces contemporary influences from rock, jazz, new-age, and world musics. Aloke has performed globally in Tokyo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. He has also played for Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne, Gwen Stefani, as well as with Cheap Trick in their top-rated show “Sgt. Pepper Live.”

Utsav Lal is a Young Steinway Artist, a Hindustani (North Indian) pianist, improviser, educator, and composer. Known as the “Raga Pianist,” Utsav has gained international recognition by blending his diverse background in Western classical, Indian classical, jazz, Celtic, and contemporary improvisational musics, and has developed his unique “voice” for the piano. Lal presents a mesmerizing and memorable concert experience by effectively combining simplicity, sincerity, artistry, and depth with imaginative improvisational expressiveness.
